About the role
As a Gardener working as part of Rugby Borough Council’s Grounds Maintenance Team you will develop and maintain the ornamental horticultural areas within the award-winning Caldecott Park and around the Borough of Rugby.
You’ll also be using excellent attention to detail and a creative touch maintaining horticulture features across Rugby town centre.
About you
You will need a minimum of 3 years practical experience within the horticultural, parks and or nursey industry and be experienced in the use and care of horticultural machinery.
Alongside this you’ll need to be a competent, dependable, and motivated individual with a keen eye for detail.
A full driving licence is essential.

About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity within our Customer Service Team for a CRM Analyst & Customer Experience Lead who will play a significant role in championing the use of new processes and innovations to ensure our customers have an excellent experience throughout their journey with Rugby Borough Council.
Working as part of a team of Customer Service Advisors, this is a varied role where you will be responding to requests for information about a range of local and County Council services, helping customers to access and pay for services via the telephone emails and face to face. You will require a mind-set that is focused on delivering consistently good customer care.
Using your own skills, knowledge, and experience, you will assist with the on-going development of data capture methods which facilitate management reporting on areas such as value and customer satisfaction.

The Bereavement Services Team are looking for an organised person to support them in providing a sensitive, compassionate and efficient burial, cremation and memorial service.
You will be based at Rainsbrook Crematorium in Rugby and will be responsible for ensuring that all cremations are carried out with dignity and respect and in accordance with current regulations.
This is a varied role where you’ll be undertaking a wide range of tasks including grounds maintenance, memorial safety checks, cremating, chapel duties and some administration tasks
The role will require you to be able to work additional hours dictated by the needs of the service, which will include some Saturday mornings and weekday evenings

As our Retrofit and Engagement Coordinator, you’ll be directly engaging with residents, both Council tenants and private homeowners / renters, building strong relationships with them and ensuring they’re informed about upcoming and ongoing retrofit projects.
You’ll also be liaising with Council staff, external surveyors, contractors, agencies, and residents to deliver high quality customer care and resident engagement during and after housing retrofit projects, keeping residents updated with appointment dates and addressing any concerns they may have throughout the retrofit process

As a Grounds Maintenance Operative you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the open spaces around the Borough. Operating ride-on tractor mowing equipment and petrol-powered strimmers alongside other associated machinery maintaining the parks and open spaces to a high standard.
You will also conduct a variety of other works such as tree planting, thinning plantations, hedge cutting, leaf clearance and other related duties.
